Underwater Scene A2 Full Shaker Card

Ilina here! I love clean and simply cards, however for today I decided to make a shaker card using the new Full A2-card Flat Acetate pouches and the Underwater Scene 6×6 background stamp and coordinating dies.

To make the card start with creating your background. I used few shades of blue dye reinkers and the ink smooshing technique on some watercolor paper. I used larger size than A2 piece of watercolor paper to create the background.

 

Next, stamp the Underwater scene and the fish on watercolor paper. 

Color and die cut them using the coordinating dies. I used watercolor as my coloring medium. You can use whatever you have on hand, only be mindful to use appropriate paper and ink,

Trim the background and underwater scene down to A2 card size.

 

Arrange all the elements and adhere the fish. Next, use the A2 shaker pouch and fold the tabs and crease them using bone folder (so they are easier to wrap around the background. Add adhesive tape on the inside of the flaps.

Wrap around the background and adhere 3 sides.

 

FIll the shakes using Pearly Gates – Iridescent Pearl Confetti, PoolSide and Silver Sparkle spots. Close the top of the shaker using adhesive tape. 

Remove the film from the acetate.

 

Adhere the Underwater scene and a sentiment from Multi Porpoise set and coordinating dies. Add to the panel and adhere to a note card to finish off the card.
