Turtley Awesome!
Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today to share a card I created using a couple of the newest Trinity Stamps items from the 1 Year Anniversary. I hope you have joined us in hopping along for the Anniversary Blog Hop for a chance to win a fun prize! If you haven’t, stop by here as a starting point for so much inspiration from the new releases!
Also, before we dive into my card for today. I just wanted to remind you that Trinity is also having a birthday promo until July 15 so if you want to get some of the new release, now is the time!
For today’s card, I wanted to share my use of the Scenes from the Sea stencils. These new stencils are amazing because they layer to help create a full scene. They also come with both the negative and positives, so you go ahead and mask parts as well. This is pretty genius and I’m loving how easy it is to create an underwater scene.
For this background scene, I use three of the four stencils in this set. I used two of them to help create the ocean bottom. For the furthest scene, I decided to make it look like a silhouette in the distance by using black distress ink. It really gives it a great effect. I also used one for the turtle and school of fishes to add to the background.
For all the sea creatures, I pulled from two of the new sets: Mermaid Wishes and Turtley Awesome. Since I wanted to use a bunch of the little animals, I stamped and fussy cut them out.
I really just love how this card turned out and it was really easy after creating my background so quickly! It adds so much detail to the card and I’m totally loving these stencils!
Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!
Love it!
