Treetop Adventure Birthday Slimline Card
Hello, my friends and happy Friday!! I hope you had a great week!!
I just adore the Treetop Adventure Stamp Set!! The tall treehouse, characters and accessories are so much for to mix and match to create a card for any occasion!! I chose to focus on the banner and balloons to create this cute birthday card!!
I began by stamping the the treehouse, characters, balloons and banners from the Treetop Adventure Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored them all with Copics and cut them out with the Treetop Adventure Coordinating Dies. I added some highlights and accents to the images with a white gel pen.
I die-cut the treehouse and a panel of light blue cardstock using the slimline die in the Slimline Series: Wonky Stitched Wilderness Die Set and adhered the tree to the background panel. I just love the stitched border that this die adds to any slimline card!! I also die-cut the picket fence from white cardstock using the Slimline Series: Great Outdoors Borders & Builders Die Set and added it to the bottom of the card, trimming the excess from each side. This die set contains everything you need to create amazing outdoor scenes…I can’t wait to use the other dies!! All of the other components were adhered as shown to create a festive birthday scene.
The sentiment, from A Sentiment for (Almost) Everything, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, trimmed into a narrow strip and added to the top, right side of the card.
I really love how this turned out!! I think any child would love to receive this sweet card for their birthday!!!
