Together is the best place to be
Hello there!!! Silvia’s here with you today to share a card inspired by Spring that it’s just around the corner, can you hear it?!
I started die cutting a white rectangle using the largest die from the new “Modern Embossed Rectangle Stack” die set. I then created my own pattern with the amazing “Bed of Roses” layering stencil set. I first layered the leaves stencil on my card base and I ink blended it with twisted citron, bundle sage, mowed lawn and rustic wilderness Distress Oxide inks. I then used the flowers one to blended spun sugar, worn lipstick and picked raspberry Distress Oxide inks with a blending buddy brush. I darkened edges with vintage photo and ground espresso Distress Oxide inks and I splattered with clean water, vintage photo Distress Oxide reinker and a bit of Indian gold Nuvo mousse loosened with water.
I also added a vintage look swiping ground espresso Distress Oxide ink pad directly on my card base (as you can see in the photo above).
I then stamped the adorable gnomes and flowers brunch from the “Best Place To Be” with black ink, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies.
I put everything together adding a vellum rectangle (smaller than my base) die cutting with the “Modern Embossed Rectangle Stack” die set under the gnomes.
I added a gold heat embossed sentiment stamped on a brown cardstock banner that I die cut with the “Scalloped Card Panelsand Banners” die set.
And that’s my finished card. I really enjoyed myself a lot making it and I hope you like it as much as I do.
I can’t thank you enough for stopping by today and see you soon. Hugs, Silvia.
