Summer Par-TEA

Happy Sunday Friends!  Katie here today wishing you a happy Independence Day in the USA.  If you aren’t in the US, just wishing you a happy day!  I have a fun summer card to share with you today.

Isn’t this the cutest tea party ever?!  I want to be there.  I am not a tea drinker, b ut that berry pie looks tasty!

This card was so fun to make.  I really enjoyed the coloring and putting all the elements together.  Here is how I did it:

First, I stamped out images from Forest Par-TEA and Bunny Burrow.  I colored them with my Copics (RV21, 42, R24, 29, 05, 85, 22, C9, 7, 5, 3, 1, W3, 1, BV17, V99, E11, 21, 25, 31, 33, 49, 53, 93, G07, YG23, BG32, 34, Y13, Y15).  I cut them out with my coordinating Forest Par-TEA Dies  and Bunny Burrow Dies.  I added some white highlights with my gel pen and set them aside.

Next, I cut a panel in white using my Stitched Panel Slimline Dies.  Then I used my Blending Buddy with the Good Morning Sunshine Slimline stencil using Lemonade and Mustard Distress Inks.  I spattered a little water and let it dry.  I used the new Rainbow Brights Paper Pad  with the Scalloped Panels Slimline Dies for the background. I used more of the paper with the Scenic border Slimline for the grass. Next, I stamped the sentiment from Supporting Script Sentiments on the yellow panel.  I used glue and foam tape to mount all my characters and food.  Then I mounted this layer on the scalloped layer.  Finally, I added some tiny confetti circles.

I hope you like it.  I love how it turned out and it makes me happy.

Thanks for visiting and have a great day.  Be sure to check out all our other sources for inspiration (YT, Pinterest, IG, FB) as well as the shop because there is a sale!
