Summer Blooms Kit Sneak Peek Week

Hello my awesome friends, I am so thankful you are here today. This is Luisana from My life in my craft room and this week I am back with a super exciting blog post! I am so honored to be the first one to show you a little preview of what the Summer Bloom Kit that is releasing on August 13th looks like.

This kit is so awesome and it contains lots of goodies that you will definitely want to grab as soon as you can because quantities are limited.

As soon as I saw the stamps in the kit I knew I wanted to do a background with it and add lots of gems to make my card sparkle. I used a couple of different shades of green ink to make my leaves background have a little more interest than if I had just used one single tone.

Next up I stamped some of the floral images onto copic friendly paper and colored them using my copic markers. I had a vision of the final product and I wanted it to look a very specific kind of pink so I went with the following copic marker combinations: Leaves YG97 G94 G43.  Roses/florals E04 RV34 R20

Once I was happy with my coloring I used the matching dies to die cut the images and then I  figured out where I wanted to place them on my card. I chose to add some extra dimension to the florals so I added some fun foam to the back of the smaller floral diecuts and placed them in the center of the card. I added the main rose on top of the previously adhered die cuts.

For the sentiment  I picked a simple “Let’s get together” from one of the releases from July. It worked perfectly.
