Shaker Tree Sneak

Hey friends, Katie here today.  I have a sneak peek from the upcoming release.  I think you are going to love this fun release.

My Sneak Today features the Christmas Tree Cut Out Dies set.  This fun die can be used in many ways, but I chose to use mine as a shaker card.

For my card, I took a white base that was 4 X 5.25.  I die cut the new Christmas Tree Cut Out Die into the base.  You can see that it leaves the space for the garland uncut.  I cut this the star again in yellow, the base in brown, and the garland in sparkly red.  I cut the garland from the cut out and mounted it on the base.  Next, I backed the base with acetate for the shaker and then used foam tape on the back around the tree.  I added the star and the trunk into the appropriate slots with some glue.  Next, i decided I wanted some extra shine around my star, so I used my Blending Buddy and Mustard Distress Ink to create a glowing halo around it.  I affixed the tree layer onto a green base leaving a space open and slipped some candy’s from the Handmade Holiday Embellishments inside.  I wanted to add a little more to the front of this, so I used my Trinity Pick Up Stick to add some additional Extravagant Emerald Rhinestones to the front with my glue dots.

This card was honestly pretty easy to make and perfect for mass production. You could pick up some of the fabulous embellishments in the shop and make a bunch of these with some fun shaker elements.

I hope you like this. Please come back on November 18th for the release! Thank you for visiting today.
