Sending Smooches Release Sneak Peek – Day 2
Hello, Trinity friends!! Boy, are you in for a treat the next few days!! The Sending Smooches Release will be available for purchase on January 27 and you are getting sneak peeks every day leading up to the release!!
There are sooooo many adorable gnomes in this release!! One of my favorites is the Best Place To Be, so I chose to use that today!! Let’s get started!!
I began by stamping the images from the Best Place To Be Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. (OMG…I told you these were the cutest!!) The sentiment was white heat embossed onto black cardstock. Once the images were colored with Copics, I cut them out with the Best Place To Be Coordinating Dies, along with the sentiment.
Next, I die-cut the new Slimline Wide Heart Trio Die from a piece of patterned paper included in the Slimline All Heart Paper Pad. Each paper in this pad is double sided with one of two heart designs and there are so many good colors…LOVE!! I cut and scored my slimline cardbase, as well as a panel of dark pink cardstock to add behind my hearts. Then all I had to do was adhere everything together!!
The pink panel and heart panels were adhered flat to the cardbase. It would be super easy to create a shaker card with this die, but I chose to keep it flat this time.
I did add plenty of dimension by popping up the adorable gnomes, branch, bird, bee and sentiment with foam tape. A few Trinity embellishment hearts were the perfect finishing touch!! (Rumor has it that the embellishments will be restocked VERY soon!!)
