Sending Gnome Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone!

Ilina here! Have you checked the new release and hopped along for tons of ideas and inspiration and celebrate the Trinity Stamps 4th birthday with us? You can check it HERE

The June release is a big one and an awesome one!!! I had hard time choosing what I wanted to use for my card today and since I was still in celebration and party mode, I decided to use the new 4″x4″ Party Gnome stamp set. These little gnomes are so fun to color!

To make the card I started by stamping the image and sentiment on watercolor paper and embossed it using Clear Embossing powder. I like embossing the image I watercolor as it creates nice barriers between areas and prevents bleeding if one area is not dried completely. Also I like the shine the embossing provides and the texture.

Next, I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and water brush  to watercolor the image. You can use any coloring medium of your choice or any watercolors you have in your stash.

Once I was done coloring, I die cut the panel using the Modern Embossed Rectangle stack die set and added “grass” to ground the little gnome so he is not floating.

To finish off the card I adhered the watercolored panel to a kraft note card I created using 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of kraft card stock that I scored at 5 1/2″.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you have an amazing day!
