Season’s Greetings
Hello there and welcome back to Trinity Stamps’ blog today! Silvia’s here with a new Christmas card…..they’re never enough, aren’t they?!
I started cutting a panel from watercolor paper and I colored it mixing tumbled glass Distress Spray stain, speckled egg Distress Oxide spray and juniper berry Distress mica stain.
I then put some uncharted mariner Distress Oxide ink on the “Retro Snowflake Wrap” background stamp, I sprayed with water and I stamped on my panel.
One dry, I stamped on it one of the beautiful sentiment from the “Insiders Sentiments” stamp set and I set it aside.
I then stamped the adorable Mrs Claus from the “North Pole Gnomes” stamp set, I colored her with alcohol markers and I cut her with coordinating dies.
I also die cut some pine trees using the “Embossed Edge Hills & Slopes” die set from scrap of papers that I had colored with Distress mica stains in different shades of green.
I die cut a big and white snowflake and its vellum shadow with the “Big Snowflake Cut & Foil” die set and I used it as my “cameo”.
I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and I added some sequins from the “Classic Christmas” confetti embellishment mix here and there.
I put a bit of snowfall Distress grit paste on the trees and on Mrs Claus to recreate a snowy effect and that’s all.
Thank you so much for stopping by today.
I wish you an amazing new week. Big hugs, Silvia.
