Reach for the Stars

Helloooooooo and happy Monday! Silvia’s here with you today!

I’m totally in love with the new and so amazing April release and I just can’t wait to share the first card I made with it.

I started cutting a 5,5″x4,25″ panel from white cardstock and I ink blended it using a handmade masking stencil I made with the “A-2 Clean Cut Layers Rectangle” die set.

I first applied some broken china Distress Oxide ink through the biggest rectangle and then I applied some prize ribbon and some chipped sapphire Distress Oxide inks.

I then splattered with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and silver acrylic paints and I set it aside.

I stamped one of the two super cute space bunnies from the “Cosmic Carrots” stamp set, I colored it with alcohol markers and I cut it with coordinating dies.

I also used the coordinating dies to cut some stars from silver glittered cardstock.

I heat embossed one of the sentiment from the “Cosmic Carrots” stamp set with silver powder and I put everything together using a  mix of liquid glue and foam tape.

That’s all for today!

Thank you so much for stopping by and kicking off the new week with me.

Have a great day! Big hugs, Silvia.
