Rare Friends Coffee Card

All this week we are celebrating the upcoming coffee hop blog with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers occurring this Friday.  I decided to use the Coffee Mug Card die with the adorable imaginary friends (swamp thing, sasquatch & a dragon) having what else?coffee!!!!

First I die cut a card base 110 lb cardstock with the Coffee Mug Card die and then used the same die to cut a mug panel out of glitter cardstock.  I die cut the negative space into the glitter panel with the Totally Amazing die set, saved the little pieces so that I could eventually inlay the stamped Totally Amazing piece.  I also die cut the “coffee” sliver piece out of kraft cardstock and put glitter paste on it. I stamped and die cut all the images from the Unbelievable stamp and die set, Hugs & Squishes stamp & die set, Totally Amazing stamp & die set and Rare Friend stamp & die set. Next I copic colored all the images very simply and also the sentiment.

I tucked in all the rare friends with their coffee mugs, inlaid all the pieces and then adhered everything in place.  Finally I adhered the panel to the card base. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you will join in CLC’s coffee blog hop this Friday!
