Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Trinity Stamps sharing a card using the Summertime Sips as my main component in these two cards. I am excited announce that this post is in support of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. Here is a link to all the information: Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. There will be tons of fun and inspiration shared over the next few days so I hope you get a chance to follow along.
I started out with an ink blended slimline card panel but using the Summertime Sips, I realized I could use both the positive and negative to create two cards instead of just one.
For my A2 card, I used the positive coffee cup from my rainbow panel. To decorate it, I cut out the cup lid along with cozy and heart from Coffee Cozy Hand Stitching dies. I did a quick stitch with some ombre embroidery floss I have in my stash. I used the cute coffee bean from A Latte Love stamped with Twiggy Brown all over a piece of craft cardstock. Using three sentiments from A Latte Love, I heat embossed it on vellum, fussy cut it, and adhered it to the card to finish it off.
Since my slimline card allows for more space, I was able to use the lid and straw from the Summertime Sips to decorate my coffee cup. I also wanted to change the coffee cup into a shaker card by using the negative of the panel to hold in the glitter and ice cubes. Similar to what I did with the the cozy and heart from Coffee Cozy Hand Stitching dies, I did a quick stitch with some ombre embroidery floss for decor. I was able to stamp the sentiment from A Latte Love on the top portion of the card.
I always love when one card panel turns in two cards. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!
So fun! Lovely colours!
