New Enchanted Woods Release
Hello, crafty friends!! Welcome to release day for the Enchanted Woods Release!!! I hope you’ve enjoyed all of the sneak peeks this week!! I combined the Oh Happy Day Stamp Set and Coordinating Die with the A7 Spring Birch Die for my 5″ X 7″ card today!! Let’s get started!!
I began by stamping the adorable images and sentiment from the Oh Happy Day Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. After coloring them with Copic markers, I cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. I also die-cut two more layers from heavyweight white cardstock with each of the dies and adhered them behind the colored ones for dimension.
For the background, I die-cut the new A7 Spring Birch Die from white cardstock and layered it over a 5″ X 7″ panel of light gray cardstock.
I wanted to bring in some red to the open area on the left side of the card, so I pulled out the Simply Sentimental-Hello Die Set. The top layer of “hello” was die-cut from red cardstock once and heavyweight white cardstock two times. The shadow layer was die-cut from vellum, then they were stacked and adhered together.
Once I figured out my placement, I stamped the trail of the bee with black ink.
I adhered all of the elements to the front of the card and trimmed anything hanging off the right side.
I added some highlights with a white gel pen and some shine to the eyes and nose of the frog and the bee’s eye with a black glaze pen and I was finished!!
I LOVED coloring this adorable Oh Happy Day Stamp Set!! Just imagine all of the color combinations!!
