Mom, You Are My Hero

Ilina here! Today I am sharing a card that is perfect for Mother’s day using couple of the April release products. The Reverse Floral Background and the Simply Sentimental: Mom stamp set along with the coordinating dies.

To make the card start by stamping the background using three different shades of coral ink to create ombre look. I typically start with the darkest color and stamp 1/3″ of the background using a soft cloth to soften up the edges where the ink ends. Then I go with medium for the middle part and lightest.

Next, cut the stamped panel to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and set aside. Die cut MOM from gold mirror card stock and the shadow from vellum.

Stamp sentiment on white card stock and emboss in gold. Cut it to a strip.

Assemble the Mom sentiment and adhere to the panel. Using foam tape adhere the embossed sentiment, too, under MOM.

Using foam tape, craft foam of few pieces of scrap card stock (to add dimension) adhere the panel to a top folded note card. Add few Gold Coin Metallic Confetti as finishing touch!You are done!
