May Sneak Peeks- Day 5- Simply Dad

Hello, Trinity friends and welcome back for day 5 of sneak peeks for the May release!! The entire release will be available for purchase on Tuesday, May 9th!!

Today I’m showcasing the new Simply Sentimental Dad stamp & die set.  I’ve paired it with the Backyard BBQ dies to create an interactive Happy Father’s Day card.  First I put made a slimline card base, cut a slimline card panel down to size (8.5 x 3.5) and then made a an inlay vellum green piece to hide the interactive components and just add more cheerful color to the card.

I die cut all the accessories for the grill and wanted for the lid to reveal another sentiment when lifted. I die cut all the parts with cardstock that I had in my stash including some silver metallic cardstock for the grilling tools. I die cut the Dad sentiment using the Simply Sentimental Dad stamp & die set and black/white cardstock I had in my stash.

I also die cut flames out of yellow and red cardstock for the inside of the grill along with a sentiment using the Un-grill-eivable stamps/dies. I then create the pull tab mechanism using the Twist and Slide Slimline die set.
