Let’s Celebrate with Stencils

Hi everyone!

Ilina here! I had so much fun playing with the Cake and Candles 6×9 stencil and building this tall cake to fit a slimline card.

To make the card start with a piece of white card stock (I used 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece). Start building the cake from the bottom to the top. I started with the cake base and masked the areas around using post-it tape or just plain paper.

Next, continue adding layers to the cake.

Once done with building the layers and the topper/banner part use white gel pen to add more details to the cake and the topper.

Trim the panel down to 3″ x 8″. Die cut the largest Dainity Scallop Slimline from Pool/aqua colored card stock. Create a slim line card base from white card stock ( I used 8 1/2″ x 7″ and scored the 7″ side at 3 1/2″)

To finish off the card stamp sentiment from the Supporting Script Sentiments set on the same Pool/Aqua card stock and emboss in white. Trim to size and adhere to the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by and hope you have an amazing day!
