Let Love Grow

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Trinity Stamps’ stamp set named, Let Love Grow. I was excited to pull this set out because it’s pretty different than other succulent sets I’ve seen around.

I love how this set comes with a main cluster along with additional images so you can add on. If you’ve seen some of my cards, I don’t mind a bit of masking when creating a card. I especially love using the masking technique for floral sets to build on each other. My main image is built on the main cluster. I added a few of the additional images to create this corner piece with a little masking. Once I stamped everything else out to my liking, I fussy cut the entire image.

Since this bottom cluster was so large, my card looked a little strange without anything on top but I didn’t want to create the same volume. I, again, stamped out that main image and only used three of the succulents. To get this three to fit on the corner, I trimmed off the turquoise succulent and positioned it so it fit nicely.

For the background, I used a couple shades of blue distress oxide inks. I added add water droplets all over. I love the brightness of the blue because it didn’t distract too much since it wasn’t as contrasting.

I added a black frame around the card and really loved the look of it. For the sentiment, the Happy Birthday didn’t fit horizontally with images so I could stagger it to fit.

To finish this card off, I used Unicorn Tears embellishments around the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by! Come back again soon for some more inspiration and ideas!
