Lattice Flower Wall- with Katie
Happy Sunday all you wonderful crafters!
So happy when you come visit the Trinity blog. Today is extra fun because I have a card for this month’s Trinity Challenge! If you haven’t seen the inspiration yet let me share:
It is super pretty! It reminds me of my Mom’s Garden with has so many beautiful flowers and plants. She is constantly working in it. So those two things inspired my card today.
This card was fun to make. I used the flowers and dies from both the Bouquet of Hope and Hopeful Flowers stamp sets and the sentiment from the Hello Sweet Friend stamp set.
Here is how I did it:
I started by die cutting the lattice in dark brown. Next I used a circle die to cut the center. i also added this woodgrain circle in the middle. I mounted it all on white.
I stamped the sentiments in the center using the brown ink and Mustard Yellow Distress Oxide.
I stamped my flowers and colored them using my Copics (E23, YG23, Y35, Y38, YR16). I die cut them out. I also die cut some of the leaves only using this vivid green color. All the flowers and leaves were tucked into this lattice die
What do you think? I love the textures and colors and the lattice wall.
Do please join us for our fun April challenge. You might win a gift certificate and/or be a guest designer.
Thanks for the visit! ~Katie
So sweet Katie!
