Joyful Poinsettia

Hi everyone!

Ilina here! Have you started making Holiday cards yet? Today I am sharing an idea of a non traditional Holiday card using the Poinsettia 4″x4″ stamp set along with the coordinating dies and the Big Joy Cut and Foil set. I love blue, so I decided to go with a blue poinsettia and add some gold details.

To make the card start by stamping the image four times on white card stock using alcohol friendly ink. Once stamped die cut each using the coordinating dies (once each die)

Using alcohol markers or any coloring medium of your choice color them. I colored the white edges that were left using the colors I colored the next larger layer of the Poinsettia. This way when you layer them you will not see that white border.

Adhere the layers together using foam tape. Set aside.

Cut piece of white card stock to 4″ x 5 1/4″. Using very pale gray ink, stamp the poinsettia to create background.

Foil the Joy sentiment using gold foil and die cut it. Adhere the Poinsettia to the panel. Add shimmer pen to the petals for extra sparkle and splatter some gold paint. Let it dry. Adhere the Joy sentiment and add Gorgeous Golden Baubles to finish to off.

Adhere the panel to a gold note card.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!
