I’m a Sucker For You Valentine’s Treat Tags!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

Larissa here today to share a FUN Idea for some SWEET Valentine’s Treat Tags for those Special Peeps in your Lives!! Just to name a few your Kiddos, Grand kiddos, Students or your Kiddos Classmates!! Greyson will definitely be taking these CUTE Tags for his Class Valentines this Year and I think they’ll be a HIT!! 

I Started by Stamping and Embossing the SWEET Images from the NEW Sucker for You Stamp Set!! Stamping with Versa FIne Black Onyx Ink and Embossing with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I Colored the Images in with Copic Markers in 2 different Color Ways!! The possibilities are ENDLESS though!!  
Yellow: Y00, Y11, Y15 & YR23       Pink: RV00 & RV11       White: N0 & N3        Orange: YR00, YR18 & YR68
Lavender: V00, V15 & V09         Green: G00, G2 & G05         Red: R00, R14, R32 & R37 

For the Second Image I used:
Yellow: Y00, Y11, Y15 & YR23       Pink: RV00, RV11, RV32 & RV34       White: N0 & N3        Orange: YR00, YR18 & YR68
Lavender: V00, V15 & V09         Green: G00, G2 & G05 
Then I used the coordinating NEW Sucker For You Die Set to Die Cut the Image out!! Then I added some White Gel Pen Highlights and I LOVE how they make the Image come to life!! Although, this step isn’t necessary!!  

Next I created the Hot Foiled Cardstock in order to create the Tag Bases!! I Started by Foiling the NEW Art Deco Dance Foil Plate onto some Colored Cardstock, then I SAVED the Negative Piece and Foiled it onto another Piece of Cardstock using a Solid A2 Foiling Plate!! SWOON!! I LOVE how the Negative Hot Foil looks and the fact that there’s NO WASTE!! I’m using some Salt Water Taffy Cardstock and some Spellbinders Satin Pastel Hot Foil in Mint!! 

I repeated the process using the Negative Foil left over from the Project I shared last week on the Blog HERE!! This time Foiling onto Lavender Glaze Cardstock using the Spellbinders Satin Hot Foil in Lavender!! STUNNING Right!!?? 

Then I Die Cut the Tag from the Hot Foiled Cardstock using the Holiday Tag Die Set!! You can get 2 Tags from each Hot Foil Sheet!! Then I Die Cut the Second Tag from some of the same Colored Cardstock and Stamped and Embossed the “Happy Valentine’s Day” Sentiment, also from the Sucker For You Stamp Set!! I plan on having Greyson Write the name of Each Classmate onto the Tag as well as his Name!! 

I Repeated the Process for ALL of the Tags!! So CUTE, Right!!?? 

Next I used the Little Die from the NEW Mini Paper Lantern Die to create the Slits in the Tag to tuck my Sucker into, but you could also just use a Craft Knife or also just stick the Sucker to the Tag using some Tape too!! You can do it how ever is easiest for you!! 

Then I added the Dum Dum Suckers and adhered the Sucker For You Image using some Foam Squares for some Dimension!! Then I created some Scrap Ribbon Bows to adhere to the Top of the Tags!! I used Mini Clothes Pins to attach the Tag together and then added the Bows using some Bling Zots Adhesive Dots!! 

I LOVE how these turned out and think these are going to bring some SMILES on Valentine’s Day!! 
I hope I’ve INSPIRED you today with my SWEET Valentine’s Treat Tags and if you haven’t tried using the Negative Hot Foil Sheets, I hope this gives you that nudge you NEED to give this Technique a try!!?? I myself LOVE to use the Negative Foil Sheets and get EXCITED about all of the different possibilities when creating with them!!
