Hot Foiled Valentine’s Day Card

Hello there, Christine here with hot foiled Valentine’s Day card. I used 2 hot foiled plates, the Love Heart Cut & Foil Die Set and the Art Deco Dance Foil Plate; one in the traditional way and the other in a nontraditional manner.

First, I took some watercolor paper and did some simple watercolor smushing and coloring. I let it dry and then did a dry impression with the Art Deco Dance Foil Plate and a die cutting machine. I love how it turned out and how you can really use a hot foil plate in many different ways. It is very subtle, but creates a lot of interest and texture. It really offsets the hot foiled heart that I made with the Love Heart Cut & Foil Die Set .

I did traditional hot foiling with the Love Heart Cut & Foil Die Set on cardstock I had in my stash. The card then came together really quickly, I added some sequins and die cut hearts using the Row of Hearts die set.

I hope you like how this turned out! Thank you so much for stopping by!
