Hoppy Easter – Bunny Egg Shaker

Happy Thursday, crafty friends!! I hope your week is going well!! Can you believe that Easter is just a little over two weeks away?!? I have a fun Easter shaker card to share with you today!!

I began by creating my shaker with the Bunny Egg Shaker Dies and Dainty Egg Layers Die Set. I die-cut the ears, feet and paws from light gray cardstock; the inside of the ears from dark pink cardstock; the scalloped layer, back and front of the egg from white cardstock; and the clear layer from acetate. The adhesive foam strips are the perfect width and height to seal the shaker bits in. I combined a mixture of Double Bubble Hearts, Pale Pink Satin Baubles, Glow Garden Embellishments and a few pink hearts from the Funfetti Love Sprinkle Embellishments for my shaker bits.

Next, I trimmed a piece of pink heart patterned paper from the Love, Dani Paper Collection slightly smaller than A2 and adhered it to a white card base with liquid glue.

The sentiment, from the Baby Bunny Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto dark pink cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Die.

The egg shaker was adhered to the background with liquid glue.

The die-cut sentiment was adhered across the shaker, also using liquid glue.

I love the combination of all of the bits form the shaker portion!

I think I’m going to tuck this into my niece’s Easter basket!!

Thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! Have a great weekend and I’ll see you next Thursday!!

Brenda
