Hello Sweet Friend | One Stamp Three Ways with Designer Emily!

Hello Sweet Friends! Welcome to this Monday’s One Stamp, Three Ways post. I’m so happy you are here and can’t wait to share three Thank You Fall cards with the beautiful Hello Sweet Friends stamp and matching dies.

To celebrate October, I used colors that remind me of cozy fall evenings, changing leaves, pumpkin spice and the crisp fall air. I used rich, deep tones like cranberry, orange, gold, red-browns, deep purples and olive greens. I also played with “new to me” supplies which made this project so much fun: Delicata Golden Glitz Pigment Ink & Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Brush Pens (the Falling Leaves Set) and WOW Super Fine Platinum and Gold Rich Pale embossing powders.

Thank you so very much!

This might be my favorite card of all three. I partial stamped the bouquet in three of the four corners in VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink on watercolor paper. Then I used the Falling Leaves Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Brush Pens and a Wink of Stella Gold Pen to “paint” the flowers to add lots of shimmer! I left a few flowers and branches without any color to add some dimension and interest. I stamped the Thank you in VersaMark and embossed with Wow Fine Platinum  powder (this color is swoon worthy), added “so very much” in VersaFine Clair Nocturne and for added pop I adhered some gold circle embellishments.

Thankful for Cranberry Everything

For this card, I die cut a scallop-circle on white card stock. Then I stamped several of the standalone floral images in Delicata Golden Glitz Pigment Ink and die cut with the matching dies. What is special about this ink? It shimmers bright gold after stamping without embossing! It looks great on dark card stock, but I love how bold it looks stamped on white card stock. I arranged and rearranged and arranged and rearranged all the floral die cuts to the bottom of the scallop circle until I finally liked the result. Then I adhered the card base to cranberry card stock, stamped and embossed (WOW Gold Pale Rich powder) Thank You in the center of the circle. Then I added some gold circle embellishments and gold stripe washi for pop.

Thank you, Fall!

I stamped the bouquet in the bottom right corner and for added interest stamped some of the image off the card. Then I used the Spectrum Glitter Sparkle Pens to color in the flowers and stems, added some polka dots and thin washi to the pitcher. What I love about so many of the Matching Dies sets from Trinity Stamps is that they come with matching dies for the sentiments. I stamped, embossed (WOW Platinum powder) and die cut the Thank You and adhered it over the bouquet in the lower corner with pop dot adhesive. I added gold circle embellishments to the card to draw your attention to the bouquet and also anchor the white space into the design.

So there you have it my sweet crafty friends! Three card designs with one stamp and its matching dies. I hope you enjoy and it inspires you to create some fall color cards!
