Have an Ice Day | No Line Coloring
Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a card featuring Trinity Stamps‘ cut stamp set named, Have an Ice Day. It’s a smaller stamp set (3×4) but it’s adorable and is perfect for a great scene card. Along with this stamp set, I also decided to use the Layered Pine Tree stencil with the Blending Buddies to help set the scene.
I colored the bear in the stamp set along with the coffee cup using no line coloring. After coloring, I used the coordinating dies to cut these two images out.
For the background, the Layered Pine Tree stencil was perfect for this. I started with two trees on the side using distress inks and the Blending Buddy. Once I finished the two side trees, I went with darker distress inks for the middle so the two side tress wouldn’t show through.
For the ground and ice rink, I just used my alcohol markers to quickly color up the bottom area of the card. I used another distress ink and Blending Buddy to add blue to the sky, keeping it very light.
I love how this card turned out and the stencils really helped fill up the scene and I just can’t get enough of them! I hope you get inspired to create!
If you want this card creation in action, I also have a video here on the Trinity Stamps YouTube Channel. Enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!
