Harvest Blessings

Hello, all!! I’m interrupting the Christmas cardmaking this week to share a fall card that would be great for Thanksgiving!!

I began by gold heat embossing the beautiful image and sentiment from the Harvest Blessings Stamp Set onto Bristol smooth cardstock. I colored the pumpkin vine with watercolor markers, then cut it and the sentiment out with the Coordinating Dies. I also used the sentiment die to cut an extra layer from aqua cardstock and layered it behind the embossed one, slightly off-set. Two more layers were cut from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered behind those for dimension.

Next, I used my Blending Buddy Brushes to add Spiced Marmalade and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink onto a panel of Bristol smooth cardstock using the Foliage Flare Stencil Set.

I die-cut the ink-blended panel with the second largest die in the Modern Embossed Rectangle Stack Die Set. (which is on sale right now…one of my most-used die sets!!). I also die-cut two circles from orange and white cardstock using the second and third largest dies in the Modern Embossed Circle Stack Die Set, (also on sale).

The ink-blended panel was adhered to an A2 panel of aqua cardstock, then to a white top-folding card base with liquid glue.

The circles, pumpkin vine and sentiment die-cuts were all adhered with liquid glue.

Twinkling Turquoise Baubles were the perfect finishing touch!!

I love this color combination!! Aqua is a neutral color for me…it just goes with everything!!

Thanks so much for dropping by today!! Have a wonderful Thursday and I’ll see you next week!!

Brenda
