Happy Rainbow

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today welcoming you to sneak peeks here. We’re celebrating Trinity Stamps‘s 2nd Birthday with a super duper fun release! I’m featuring one of the newest die sets, simply called Rainbow die, from this release and if you like rainbows…. you’re gonna love this one! I know that rainbows are loved, especially during spring and summer, but this one is a pretty unique one as it’s created for slimline cards.

Instead of using it in the intended landscape fashion, I actually use it for a portrait card. To start off my card, I pulled 7 colors for the rainbow die. I die cut all 7 colors and for today’s card, I’m only use one piece of each of the 7 rainbows. I’m going to save the rest of them to make additional cards later. I create a rainbow using the traditional colors.

To put this card together, I actually trim the rainbow into three parts. I use all the cloud dies in this Rainbow set to create layers. I die cut those using white cardstock, silver glitter cardstock, and vellum. By layering them, I love all how the layers peek out from underneath each other. Hint: this set comes with three cloud different dies. For the white cardstock, I use a little distress ink with a blending buddy brush just to add subtle color.

Once I place everything on the card, I adhere it to a card panel I cut out using the largest of the Slimline Card Series: Stitched Card Panels and Windows. For the sentiment, I pulled out the Happy senti-mini stamp set that I thought worked perfectly for this. I stamped and heat embossed it on black cardstock using white embossing powder. I trimmed it down and added it to the card aligning them to the left so I didn’t cover up too much of the rainbow.

I loved how this card turned out and I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek. Be sure to stop by this week for the full reveal of all the products! Trust me, it’s going to be a good one!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!
