Happy birthday to you

Hello crafty friends! Silvia’s here with you today on the Trinity Stamps blog with a mermazing birthday card.

I started cutting a white panel with the “A2 Modern Embossed Rectangle Stack” die set. I created my own personal stencil with a cardstock and the “Multi Porpoise” coordinating dies and I used Distress Oxide inks in several colors (salvaged patina, kitsch flamingo, mowed lawn, wilted violet, twisted citron and squeeze lemonade) to make a rainbow background.

I darkened edges with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink, I splattered with clean water and tone on tone inks and I set it aside.

I stamped images from the beautiful new “Mermazing” stamp set, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordianting dies.

I stamped a sentiment using the “Simply Sentimental: Birthday” stamp set and I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape.
