Happy Birthday!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!

Larissa here today sharing a FESTIVE Cupcake Birthday Shaker Card using the NEW Celebration Cupcake Stamp Set along with the coordinating NEW Celebration Cupcake Stamp Set!! If you follow me, its no secret that Shaker Cards are one of my FAVORITE Style of Cards to make!! There are SO MANY different Techniques used to create a Shaker Card too!! I’ll be sharing a Different Technique today that allows you to use a LARGE Stamped Image and the coordinating Dies!! Let’s get to it!!

I Started this Design by Stamping and Embossing the Images onto 2 different Card Panels!! One Panel is an A2 Size Card Panel and the other is slightly Smaller in order to layer on top!! I Stamped in Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I used my MISTI Stamping Tool in order to Stamp the Images on both Panels in the exact some spot!! I had to Stamp the Candle Image first, and then Masked it off with some Masking Tape and then Stamped the Cupcake Image over the top!! Once everything was Stamped and Heat Embossed I took the coordinating NEW Celebration Cupcake Stamp Set and Die Cut the Image out on the Top Panel!! I Started by Die Cutting the Candle Image, then I Die Cut the Cupcake Image!! Then You have your Shaker Window Panel!! I then Stamped the Candle Flicker Images and added some Clear Acetate to the Back of the Panel using some of the NEW Trinity Rip & Stick 1/4″ Tape!! Then I added some Foam Tape to the back side edges of that same Top Panel in order to create a Well to hold the Shaker Elements!!

Next I Colored the Image stamped on the A2 Card Panel Base using Copic Markers!!
Pink: RV00, RV63, RV66 & RV69         Turquoise: BG10, BG13, BG45 & BG49
Brown: E40, E43 & E49           White: N0 & N3
Then I added some White Gel Pen Highlights!! I also wanted the Cupcake to have some Sprinkles on t while it was upright, so I used my Crafty Gluefriend Adhesive and added some Dots around the Top of the Cupcake and I added some Birthday Cake Sprinkle Embellishments and some Shimmer Stars Flat Confetti Embellishments using my Trinity Stamps Pickup Tool!!

Then I added MORE of both of the Shaker Embellishments adding them to the Top of the Image and then I layered the Shaker Window Card Panel over the top of the Base Card Panel and placed it over the top pressing it into place once t was centered!! SQUEAL!! I personally LOVE Cupcakes and feel like this Image is SO VERSATLE!! t can be used for SO MANY Occasions!! I feel like a Red, White and Blue Design would be PERFECT for Celebrating the 4th of July!!

To finish off the Card Design, I added some Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink to the Flame Flickers on the Panel using a Qtip!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the “Celebrate” Sentiment and Die Cut it out using the coordinating Die to Die Cut it out!! I added it to the Card Panel using some Foam Tape for some Dimension!! Then I added a Sprinkling of the Shimmer Stars Flat Confetti Embellishments to the card Panel using more Crafty Gluefriend Adhesive!! In real life, those Shimmer Stars just finish off the Design with the PERFECT amount of Sparkle!!

So there you have it, a FESTIVE Cupcake Birthday Shaker Card using the NEW Celebration Cupcake Stamp Set along with the coordinating NEW Celebration Cupcake Stamp Set!! If you haven’t created a Shaker Card like this, I Hope this INSPIRES you to create your own Shaker Card using one of your FAVORTE Large Images!!
