Happy Birthday

Good Morning Friends! It is Dana here today and I am happy to be back sharing another project with you all. I hope you all are doing well and staying healthy. I know this is such a stressful time for all of us. If you are like me, you are Thankful for this card making hobby to keep you busy while you are at home.

For my card today, I decided to make a birthday card with the Layered Fireworks Stencil Set. This stencil set comes with two stencils. The stencils include lots of different firework options that can be layered together to create a lot of fun patterns. I started my card by using stencil A and dye ink to create my first layer for my pattern. Next, I used the B stencil and lined it up with my stencil A (pattern) ink to add my second layer. The stencils have the opposite layer etched on them so it is very easy to line everything up. I used post it notes to create a mask so that I made sure I didn’t get any “extra” ink on my card front.

Next, I used the small little stars that are included on the B stencil to fill in any open areas on my card panel. Here is my finished my card panel:

For my sentiment, I used the Happy Senti-mini Stamp and Die Set. I die cut the shadow from black cardstock and the top layer from white. Next, I stamped Birthday in VersaMark ink and heat set it with white embossing powder. I die cut my sentiment onto a banner. Lastly, I attached my sentiment to my card panel to finish my card.

I hope you enjoyed my card today! Have you tried using the Firework Stencil Set? I think the firework patterns create such fun and unique designs, with so many possibilities. I hope you give them a try.

Enjoy your day,

Dana
