Hap-pie birthday

Hi there! Silvia’s here with you today with a Fall birthday card.

I started cutting a 5,5″x4,25″ panel from white cardstock and I created a Fall pattern using the amazing stencil from the  “Fabulous Foliage” stamp and layering stencils set with a lot of Distress Oxide inks. I used rusty hinge, seedless preserved, kitsch flamingo, salvaged patina, bundle sage, candied apple, ground espresso fossilized amber, rustic wilderness and scorched timber.

I darkened edges with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink,I splattered with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and gold acrylic paints and I dipped edges in a bit of gold acrylic paint loosened with water.

I then die cut all the pieces from the “Tip & Sip Coffee Shaker” die set by Lynda Kanase and I colored them with ground espresso, seedless preserved and old paper Distress Oxide inks, I splattered with clean water and white and gold acrylic paints and I let them dry.

I stamped one of the cute slice of pie from the “Hap-pie Day” stamp set on watercolor paper, I colored it with Distress watercolor pencils and I cut it with coordinating dies.

I heat embossed in dark brown one of the sentiment from the above stamp set on the purple label and I put everything together with a mix of liquid glue and foam stripes.

I added a tiny bow on the lid and that’s all.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Have a great new week. Big hugs, Silvia.
