From Our Gnome to Yours

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Trinity Stamps sharing a card using From Our Gnome to Yours along one stamp from All Spruced Up. 

Since From Our Gnome to Yours has a gnome with poinsettia, I thought it was fitting to pull the poinsettia from the All Spruced Up stamp set.  I wanted to create a frame so I started by stamping it in the middle of the card panel on the top and bottom. I then masked the middle poinsettia and then stamped it on each side. I moved the masks and stamped it again on each end and it created a border on the top and bottom. 

Once my frame was in place, I stamped the main image from the 3×4 stamp set on the left hand side and colored it up using alcohol markers. I also added a shadow right under the gnome to ground the image. To finish off the card, I used the sentiment and placed it on three different lines just to fill up the remaining white space on the right.
