Friend-Ship — Sneak Day 4
Hi friends! Friday is here and so am I- Katie that is. I have another fun sneak peak for you today. This card features the upcoming Friend-Ship Stamp and Coordinating Die Set. You are gonna love this set!
Here is how I made this:
I started by stamping out the images and from the new set. Then I colored them with Copics. I used B01, B02, B23, B24, B26, E11, E13, Y15, Y13, YR04, YR07, YG03, YG11, YG25, R37, R35, R14, then I cut them out with the coordinating die set. Next, I cut a piece of cardstock and used distress oxide to ink it up, I used Broken China, Salty Ocean, Blueprint to create a backdrop and spritzed it with water. Then I used the Summer School Stencil with some white paste followed by some glitter. Once that dried, I mounted my boats. I added some Gold Fishes embellishments to the poles for fun.
Next, I tied in the colors from the fish by adding a bit of cardstock under the blue layer in orange and yellow. I mounted all of this on a white base. Then, I stamped the sentiment from the Friend-Ship set on a white circle and then the “Happy Father’s Day” from the Sentiment for Almost Everything set on yellow. I die cut the yellow bit out using the Slimline Scalloped Panels and Banners die. I mounted my two sentiments on the base and added some more fishies around it.
It makes for a pretty fun card and I love the sentiment combo.
I hope you liked this sneak peak and be sure to check out the Sweet Summer release on June 7th. Thanks for visiting! ~Katie
