Foiled Joy on Ribbon Twirl Tree

Ilina here! Today I have super fun card to share using the new Ribbon Twirl Layering stencil along with the Big Joy Foil and Cut dies.

To make the card start by applying ink to the stencil to build the tree. I started with dark ink first, then added the light. I used Distress Oxides, so set it aside to dry (if you use dye inks, you don’t need to set aside to dry)

While the tree was drying, I ink blended my background using different shades of blue Distress Oxides starting with the darkest on the top. Once satisfied with the results I splattered some white acrylic pain to mimic snow. Set aside to dry. In meantime I foiled JOY word using Aura foil.

Fussy cut the tree. and adhere to the ink blended panel. (trim the panel to 4″ x 5 1/4″ before adding the tree, then adhere the foiled joy)
