FIFTEEN
Happy Saturday friends and family. It’s hard to believe… but Pete and I just celebrated our 16 year Anniversary yesterday! We’ve been together for 20 years, come October. That’s a long time… Honestly, I didn’t think we were gonna make it… but we talked a lot… and decided that we BOTH needed to work together if we were gonna make it work. And whatever we are doing… it’s working.
So… I wanted to create a layout to celebrate! I don’t think I’ve ever created a layout celebrating our Anniversary. For this layout, I used Trinity Stamp’s Marshmallow Alphabet Die and the So Appreciative Stamp Set to create a fun background for my layout. The die sheet was the leftovers from a previous layout. Rather than throw it out, I decided it would make a fun background for a layout. I am glad I held onto it!
I used papers, washi tape and die cuts from Jillibean Soup’s Spoonful of Soul Collection to embellish the layout. The number stickers and labels are from Citrus Twist.
I used black ink and a blending buddy to color the manila tag. Then I added the lace trim.
I used washi tape to create a fun border around the layout. I love how this looks… Seriously, it looks fun and playful. And it was super simple!
I added some puffy hearts at the top of the photo because it looked like something was missing. They are from Citrus Twist!
What do you think? It’s different…but in a good way. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Happy anniversary! Lovely page to commemorate!
So cool! Love the way you used the negatives for the background!
