Day 5 Sneak Peek

Hello there, Christine here with a sneak peek for day 5!  We have a “lucky” little release coming on February 7th when all the new release products will be in the shop!  Today I’m sharing a sneak peek of the Shamrock Swirl – Cut & Foil Die Set. There are so many possibilities with this die set- foiling, layers- even rainbow shamrocks (on my list to make!). I’ve shown 2 examples of the shamrock foiled and die cut below.

 

For today’s card, I did both foiling and die cutting!  I hot foiled some gold foil onto green cardstock and then die cut it out with the largest outer shamrock die.  Then I die cut a darker green piece of cardstock from my stash and layered die cuts on top of the foiled shamrock with glue.

I then die cut the sentiment with the dies from the Simply Sentimental “Lucky” die set in white and black to make it pop.  I made a shaker card using a hot foiled background with another new release product: Clover Background – Foiling Plate Die. I put some Soap Bubble sequins in the shaker and voila- the card was mostly finished!  I actually had die cut pieces from the Stitched Shamrock – Die Set (the inside die cuts are hearts!) so I added those with some heart sequins from our January release.
