Creating Focal Point Using Small Images – Valentine’s Day card

Hi everyone!

Ilina here. Have you ever wondered how to use those tiny stamps in your stamps sets? Today I am sharing an idea how to create focal point using small images. I used the Sucker For You 3″x 4″ set and pulled out the solid X and heart images.

To make the card start by cutting piece of white cardstock to 2 3/8″x2 3/8″. Draw a grid for tic tac toe. I made the lines 3/4″ apart.

Stamp hearts and X-s using black, pinks and red ink pads.

Once the ink is dry, use ruler and black marker or pen and draw the lines. After the ink dries use an eraser to remove the lines.

Cut piece of white cardstock measuring 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″. Adhere the tic tac toe grid to it using foam tape.

Cut piece of light pink cardstock to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhere the tic tac toe grid and mat. Stamp sentiment.

To finish off the card use tiny Shimmer hearts confetti to add to each stamped heart, then add few around the focal point. Adhere the entire panel to a white card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!
