ConGRADulations

Happy Friday! It has been a doozy of a week for me and I am so glad the end of the week is here.
I don’t make many graduation cards, but I couldn’t resist this new Congradulations Die Set.

I cut a yellow sheet of cardstock to 3.5 X 4.75 and die cut the the Congradulations Die. I mounted that layer on a layer of black cardstock measuring 5.25 X 4. Next, I die cut this again using some blue glittery cardstock, then I cut this out and glued it to the yellow letting a little of the yellow peek out. Next, I cut out the hat and cut and glued all the layers together cutting various pieces. This was mounted on that layer, which was mounted on the white cardstock. Next, I pulled out the Cheers Die Set and die cut the champagne glass in vellum. I used a bit of light blue distress on this with my Blending Buddy, just enough to tint it very lightly. For the inside of the glass, I had a bit of white and added a bit of Mustard Distress Oxide. Then on the vellum layer, which I glued on top of the white, I added some gold glitter. After all this was tacked down, I added some Bubble Blow Out Embellishments with some glossy accents.

Here is a close up of the glitter. I think this will make a great graduation card for someone special, do you agree?
I hope that you enjoyed this card and I think you for visiting.
Hope you have a great day! ~Katie
