Christmas card with Joyeux Noel

Hi guys!

It’s Erica back on the Trinity Stamps blog today with a clean and simple Christmas card, using the darling Joyeux Noel stamp set.

I’m not the best at Clean And Simple. I do love the look but find that when I attempt it myself, I over-think the process so much. In the end, my cards usually don’t end up being clean and simple at all. How is that for a crafting problem? Oy.

To begin with, I stamped my images on Neenah card stock with Copic friendly ink. Then using a big bunch of markers, I coloured in my images. I used so many for the deer, like SO many. However, I do find that in order to get a good blend that works best for me.

When all my images were coloured in, I used the coordinating diecuts to cut out all of them. These I set aside while I heat embossed the sentiment from Season Greeting Silhouettes directly onto a card base. I used WOW! Embossing powder in Metallic Rich Gold regular.

In order to add some dimension to the card, I cut out a deer shape in foam sheet too.

This and all the other images I adhered to the card. I do feel that it’s a bit naked but as previously mentioned, CAS is not my forte!

That’s it from me for today, thanks for stopping by!

Happy crafting from Erica
