Botanical Background with Trinity Stamps Let Love Grow
Do you ever find yourself wishing for a large botanical background stamp, only to find you don’t have the right one in your stamp collection? Me too, so I used the stunning succulent cluster from the Let Love Grow set to fake it!
By stamping the succulents, rotating the image and stamping again, I created a design that mimics a full background image.
Here are a few tips for using a smaller stamp to create a larger background:
- Stamp on a cardstock panel larger than your card so you can have more flexibility in the design. In case you miss any spots, you have the option to trim it down.
- Start by stamping the first image in the middle and moving outward. Starting in the middle helps to achieve perfect spacing.
- If embossing, make sure to use your anti-static powder tool each time you emboss, Why? All those fingerprints from rotating the cardstock and moving the stamp.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hugs!
