A Little Slow Happy Birthday

Hi everyone!

Ilina here! Today I am sharing a card using the new A Little Snow 3×4 stamp set along with the coordinating dies and also addition of a background created with the Polkadot Pattern Background stamp. I love creating my own patterned paper using background stamp and the polkadot is an great choice for a simple pattern to add to any card. Last week I shared a card with a pattern created on pool colored card stock, this week I used the same background on pink card stock. I also used the Modern Embossed Rectangles dies to cut out my panel.

To make the card start by stamping the snail image on watercolor paper and coloring it with your water coloring medium. I used watercolor markers (Zig Clean color), but you can use whatever you have in your stash or also completely different coloring medium, only would need to make sure you use appropriate paper and ink for the coloring medium. Die cut the image.

Stamp the polkadot background using white pigment ink on pink card stock.

Next die cut a panel from white card stock using the 2nd to the largest rectangle from the Modern embossed rectangles dies. Cut a partial rectangle also from the patterned paper (strip) that will go on the bottom of your pane.

Adhere the snail using foam adhesive (you can use foam tape of foam squares) and stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment in black.

Add Strawberry Twinkle Stardust Rhinestones to finish off the panel then adhere it to a top folded white card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!
