A Friend like you

Hello crafty friends!v Silvia’s back on the Trinity Stamps blog today with a mermazing friendship card.

I started cutting a panel from white cardstock and I ink blended it with the new and so versatile “Space Fog” stencil. 

I first apply broken china and blueprint sketch Distress Oxide inks and then mermaid lagoon and faded jeans Distress Oxide inks.

I then darkened edges with faded jeans Distress Oxide ink and I splattered with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and silver acrylic paints.

I stamped the beautiful mermaid from the “Sea you Soon” stamp set, I colored it with alcohol markers and I cut it with coordinating dies.

I heat embossed in white one fo the beautiful sentiment from the “Simply Sentimental: Friend” stamp set on black cardstock and I completed it  cutting one of the FRIEND words from the “Simply Sentimental: Friend” die set. I used a black glitter cardstock for it.

I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and I added some “Heart Shaped Bubbles” embellishment mix in silver here and there.
