4th day of Christmas: gift card

Hello crafty friends! Silvia’s here for the 4th day of Christmas and today’s theme is Gift Card.

I started cutting a panel from white cardstock and I stamped the “Pine Forest” background stamp set with uncharted mariner Distress Oxide ink.

I darkened edges with weathered wood and black soot Dsitress Oxide inks, I splattered with clean water and white, silver and balck Distress paints and I set it aside.

I then die cut two mugs using the “Beary Cute LAyered Mug” set and I ink blended  one with cracked pistachio and peacock feathers Distress Oxide inks and the other one with saltwater taffy and abandoned coral Distress Oxide inks.

I also die cut some whipped cream and I softly blended with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink.

To make the giftcard holder I used the cream die from the mug die set and the inside panel die from the “Mini Envelope” die set.

I glued the two mugs together with liquid glue and I made a pocket for the giftcard holder using some foam tape and I attached it to the cardbase.

I’d like to add a bit of cuteness so  I stamped the adorable gnome from the “Cocoa the Gnome” stamp set, I colored it with alcohol markers and I cut it with coordinating dies.

I put it on the card using some foam tape and I added the Merry Christmas script that I cut using the “Simply Sentimental-Merry” and the “Simply Sentimental-Christmas” die sets from the glossy cardstock in black.

I put some here and there some “Peppermint Mocha” sprinkles mix and that’s all.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and don’t forget to come back here tomorrow for a new day of Christmas!

I wish you an amazing new week. Big hugs, Silvia.
