1 Stamp 3 Ways

Hi Friends and Happy Monday! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! It’s Emily @popsofpaper and I’m sharing three different cards using the Adorable 3×4 Folded Hug Stamp along with a little help from the Frame and Fold Die Slimline Die Set, Sending Hugs Die set and the A2 Rectangle Foundation Stencil. I created two A4 Cards and one cute 3×4 folded card that you can place in a handmade mini envelope using an envelope punch board.

I absolutely love this sentiment and it truly does feel like every time I make a card it’s a hug with a fold in the middle.

For my first card, I stamped the image with VersaMark Ink to Heat Resistant Acetate. Then I added white embossing powder to heat set the embossing powder to the acetate. The Heat embossed image was placed behind a white frame that was created by die cutting the 3×4 stitched square die into the center of white card stock. Then I adhered the frame to a bright and cheerful pink card base. For a little extra pop, I die cut Hugs from the Sending Hugs Die, Colored with Aqua Copics and added some Crystal Stickles for a little sparkle. Then I adhered the H-U-G letters to the heat embossed acetate…making sure to offset the letters so you can see the white embossed outline for a nice “lettering shadow”.

For my second card, I stamped the sentiment on a white card stock, colored with some pink, purple and aqua Copics and die cut using the stitched rectangle die in the Frame and Fold Die Set. Then I used the A2 Rectangle Stencil and my blending brushes to create a two-tone pink frame using Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink. To the Picked Raspberry rectangle, I added some white paint specs. Then I adhered the “This is not a card, it’s a Hug with a fold in the middle” to center of the card with foam tape for some pop.

For my third card, I stamped the sentiment on white card stock, colored with Copics and then I colored the word Hug with Sherbert Shimmer Nuvo Glitter Drops. I adhered the card to a 3×4 folded card and added some Wintery White Sparkle Rhinestones

So there we are friends! One stamp, Three Ways using the Folded Hug Stamp Set. I hope you enjoyed my cards today and it inspires you to stretch your stamps in fun new ways. I’ll be back in March, until then you find me on my blog at www.popsofpaper.com or Instagram @popsofpaper.

Big Paper Hugs!
