You’ve got a Friend in me

Hello crafty friends and welcome back to the Trinity Stamps blog. Silvia’s here with you today to kick off this new week with a super sweet friendship card.

I started cutting a 5,5″x4,25″ from a kraft cardstock and I ink blended it using different stencils.

I first applied wild honey and rusty hinge Distress Oxide inks through the new “Space Fog” stencil, I then used the “Spring Day Scene Builder” stencil to blend some grass on the button of the panel and I added some white clouds with the “Puffy Clouds” stencil and a blending buddy.

I darkened edges with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink, I splattered with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and gold acrylic paints and I let it dry.

I die cut a mason jar and its lid from white cardstock with the “Half Pint Jar” coordinating dies and I colored them applying some Dsitress Oxide inks through the “Half Pint Jar” stencil.

I splattered them with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and gold acrylic paints andI put them together, adding a cute red bow I die cut with the same coordinating dies.

I then stamped the cute bear from the “Forest ParTea” and some bees from the “Half Pint Jar” stamp sets, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies.

For the sentiment I cut the word FRIEND from turquoise cardstock with the “Simply Sentimental: Friend” die set and I combined it with a phrase from the “Simply Sentimental: Friend” stamp set.

I put everything together with a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and that’s all.

Thank you so much for passing by today.

Have a great new week. Big hugs, Silvia.
