You’re the zest

Hello crafty friends! Silvia’s here with you today with a super fresh card.

Summer has finally arrived and for me one of the symbols of the season is lemon and Its delicious fragrance. So I decided to share with you this card featuring the adorable “Zest Wishes” stamp & coordinating dies set.

I started cutting a pannel from light blue cardstock with the “A-2 Modern Embossed Rectangle Stack” die set  and a white pannel using the “Dainty Scallop Rectangles (A-2 sized)” die set.

I then stamped two lemons directly on the white pannel and one on a scrap of white cardstock.

I stamped a first layer with squeezed lemonade Distress Oxide ink and I added a darker shadow with fossilized amber Distress Oxide ink.

I did the same with the tiny leaves using mowed lawn and rustic wilderness Distress Oxide inks and I die cut the single lemon with coordinating dies.

I stamped a piece of sentiment on the white scalloped pannel in black and I used the “Modern Embossed Alphabet” die set to cut the word ZEST from the same cardstock as the cardbase.

I put everything together using a mix of Crafty Gluefriend and foam tape and I added some sequins from the “Strawberry Daiquiri” mix here and there.
