You’re the Sweetest – Cozy Bear Candy Shop
Hello, Trinity friends!! I hope you are all doing well!!
I have a sweet card to share with you today that would work for pretty much any occasion!! It features the Cozy Bear Sweet Shop Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies!! I always picture candy shops as bright and vibrant, so I thought rainbow colors would be perfect!!
Let’s get started!!
To start, I stamped the adorable images in the Cozy Bear Sweet Shop Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen and cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. The sentiment was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and also cut out with the Coordinating Die.
Next, I die-cut two pieces of patterned paper from the Love, Dani Paper Pack using the largest and third largest dies in the Modern Embossed Rectangle Stack Die Set.
I applied some Twiggy Brown Ink to a panel of Bristol cardstock with a Blending Buddy Brush and die-cut it with the third largest Modern Rectangle Stack Die.
That panel was trimmed to about 3/4″ and adhered to the bottom of the polka-dot paper to create the floor for my candy shop. I also added a panel of black cardstock that was trimmed slightly larger than the smaller panel, as I wanted some separation between the two patterned papers.
All that was left to do was adhere the die-cuts. The shelves and candy jars were adhered with liquid adhesive, while the candy counter and bears were popped up with foam adhesive.
I just love these sweet little bears!!
