You’re the Coolest Shaker Card
Hello, fellow crafters!! I hope your week is going well!! Brenda here with an adorable winter shaker card featuring an image from the absolutely adorable Frost Bite Cafe Stamp Set!!
I started by stamping the image from the Frost Bite Cafe Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored it with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen and used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. The sentiment, from the same set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with its Coordinating Die.
Next, I blended Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch onto a small piece of white cardstock to fit behind the opening for my shaker card, then splattered it with white acrylic ink. I used Copics to shade another small piece of white cardstock for the “ice” in the background.
The Modern Embossed Window Panel #2 Die was cut from a panel of white cardstock. I added glitter gel onto the panel through the Checkered Background Add-on Snowflakes Stencil and set it aside to dry. Once it was dry, I adhered a piece of acetate and the “ice” behind the opening in the panel.
The ink-blended panel was adhered to an A2 white card base. Foam adhesive strips were adhered to the back of the window panel, being sure to enclose the area around the opening. Shimmer Snowflakes and Vanilla Sugar Snowflakes were added for the shaker bits and the card base was adhered to the back of the window panel.
The penguin was adhered with liquid glue, while the sentiment was popped up with adhesive foam strips.
I adhered Clear Twinkle Rhinestones to the centers of the snowflakes and this card was finished.
Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great day!!
