Your Friendship is Worth More Than a Pot of Gold
Happy Thursday, crafters!! I hope your week is going well!! Brenda here with a sweet rainbow friendship card to share with you today!!
I began by stenciling the Puffy Cloud Layers Stencil onto a panel of white cardstock with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and a Blending Buddy Brush. I die-cut the panel with the largest die in the A2 Clean Cut Layers Set B Die Set. I also die-cut a panel of black cardstock with the largest die in the A2 Clean Cut Layers Set A Die Set, then adhered the two of them together with liquid glue.
Next, I die-cut the Rainbow Shaker Die Set from red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and white cardstock.
The Leprechaun Loot Dies were die-cut from black and metallic gold cardstock.
The sentiment, from the Real Treasure Stamp Set, was gold heat embossed onto white cardstock. “Pot of gold” was cut out with the Coordinating Die and the rest of the sentiment was die-cut with a die in the Insider Sentiments – Christmas Die Set.
The rainbow, pot and treasure were all adhered to the background with liquid glue.
The clouds and sentiments were popped up with foam adhesive strips and this card was finished.
Anytime I can add a rainbow to a card, it makes my heart happy!! I hope it makes the recipient smile!!
