You Warm My Heart Mini Slimline

Hello there, Christine here with a mini slimline card using the Warm Heart stamp and die set paired with the Mini Slimline Geometric Cut Out Panel die. I love that the Warm Heart stamp set, designed by Love Dani, can be used all winter and for Valentine’s Day!

First I die cut the mini slimline panel out of pink cardstock that I had in my stash with the Mini Slimline Geometric Cut Out Panel die. I took certain pieces out to create a pattern and give the background more interest. I then adhered the panel to a mini slimline card base that has the dimensions 3 x 6 inches (take a 6×6 cardstock piece and fold it in half).

I then stamped and die cut all the sentiment pieces using the Warm Heart stamp and die set and did paper piecing for the heart itself. I do love paper piecing as it allows you to dig into your stash of cardstock colors.

I used pink copic markers to color the sentiments and the scarf. I then used glitter paste to create more interest and more depth. I had to write the word “my” in white gel pen because there is no die for the word “my”.

I adhered everything in place. Unfortunately the photos don’t do the card justice, the colors are more coordinated in real life. Sometimes it is hard to photograph something unless you are completely outside. I try to use the natural light as much as I can, but it washes out some color and not others depending on where the color is on the card.
